Help Missionaries

At the Christian Hospitality Network, we have committed to bringing these and many more Missionaries a very special break. Not just a time of rest but an outrageous gift of Hospitality that will assure them they are special. In Matthew chapter 11, Jesus said,

“Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle, and you will find rest for your souls.”

Jesus washed his disciples’ feet. He showed them by example how to refresh others. Can we do any less for these frontline workers so willing to sacrifice and serve?
We would like your help in offering today’s missionaries serving in South Africa an opportunity to take a real rest at the upcoming Missionary GetAway.

Nov. 10 - Nov. 13, 2008 , the Christian Hospitality Network will be hosting a Missionary GetAway at the luxurious RIU Seabank Hotel & Spa in Mellieha Bay, Malta. Here, Missionary workers will be treated to soft beds, good food, carpet under their feet, air conditioning and plenty of clean water.

We will take gifts of remembrance and gifts of service – a doctor, chiropractor, worship leader, lawyer to help with legal issues, massage therapists and others who wish to serve.

This is an invitation to get away and rest with no agenda, no expectations and no demands. We encourage missionaries to spend time with their spouse being refreshed by Jesus, being renewed by His grace.

The message we carry is this; “The church in the U.S. has not forgotten you. We value who you are and what you are doing. Your service is important to God and to us.”
But we can’t do it without you. There are hundreds of missionary couples serving in the countries of South Africa. Their work is demanding and often dangerous. Yet for just $300 per person, we can treat them to four days of rest and encouragement. It’s so little to ask, for those who give so much. Click here to Help.
